With the rapid surging of economic society and the ultimate outbreaking of scientific technology,we have raised many great projects of engineering.These projects are always driven by complicated procedures,long time span and large amount of investment,and sometimes are crucially effective to the economy and society from one nation to another.Meanwhile,delays of different degree in many of these giant projects have been seen frequently.Those delays are still causing heavy burdens of costs outranging the acceptable and making a big lost of property and a great waste of resource.All of the above are offering a vital place for the time-management in projects of great importance.To understand the academic significance and make full use of this managing method,profound research of the technolody of time-management is needed indeed.The key to fulfill the time managing are the schedule planning and procedure optimizing.Accurate plan serves as the centre of time-management.This thesis is ultilizing the knowledge of time managing based on its importance and scientificalness to plan,manage and optimize the retrofitting of the X300 P power unit in SH power plant by DQ corperation.Since the retrofitting of steam turbine are operating with alternative time line,limited factory space and short delivery cycle,X300 P project is in great need of high-level operating professions.So this thesis will deliver a reasonable,scientifical and optimized time plan of alternative schedule using modern managing knowledge and the network-planning method to effectively push forward the realistic going of this X300 P power unit retrofitting in SH power plant.This thesis will also serve to ultilize the functions of time-management in managing project considering safty,quality and delivery cycle by making full use of the network-planning as an exclusive tool.This thesis will make a comparatively profound research using methods and knowledge of time-management taking consider of the project details of the retrofitting of X300 P power unit in SH power plant.Firstly,this thesis will give an introduction to the present researching standard at home and abroad as well as the academic basement of time-management itself.Secondly,the thesis will describe the exclusive characters of X300 P retrofitting project and the equipment status in DQ factory.Thirdly,schedule planning and Work Breakdown Structure(WBS)will be ultilized with great importance in this retrofitting project.Finally,this thesis will optimize the time schedule with the help of network-planning,and offer feasible suggestions for raising efficiency and shortening project cycle as well as promoting managing level.
