The operation of the power plant not only led to the local economic development,but also provided a strong guarantee for people’s live,and brought serious challenges to the safety management.Fire risk is an important factor threatening the safety of power plant,fire safety accidents will endanger personal and environment safety,resulting in huge economic losses.Based on the summarizing of domestic and international researches on the fire risk of the power plant,this study established a set of scientific fire risk assessment model of power plants by a comprehensive analysis method which based on risk matrix and analytic hierarchy process,and analyzed the Shaoguan power plant,this study has provided a scientific basis for the future development of power plant fire prevention and control planning,the rational allocation of fire and the deployment of fire safety disposal measures.The main conclusions showed that:(1)This study Analyzed the factors affecting the fire safety of coal-fired power plants,and selected the evaluation indexes.Took the fire inherent risk,fire protection measures,fire management risk,planning and design risk as the risk study object,which has 24 secondary indicators.And built a suitable fire risk evaluation index system for coal-fired power plant.(2)This paper discussed the methods of fire risk assessment such as Daohua method and neural network method.Considering the theoretical maturity of the evaluation method and the actual situation of the power plant.This study established a risk assessment model for coal-fired thermal power plants by using the new method combining AHP and risk matrix method.(3)The results of simulation experiments of the fire risk evaluation model in the power plant of Shaoguan City showed that the risk of fire prevention R_n was 6.5074,which mean there was a low risk of fire accident.The four factors as product risk,the hazardous chemicals,the fire risk of equipment,the electrical equipment and line has relatively high.risk rating,and the risk rating is 3,which belongs to the insecure risk factor,which has a greater impact on the overall safety of Shaoguan power plant.(4)Risk identification has been carried out for indicators with relatively high risk levels in fire risk assessment.This study has put forward the control measures to the production process and the hazardous chemicals risk protection measures.At the same time,it put forward to power plant to strengthen staff training,timely update the fixed fire facilities and other related recommendations after the risk of emergency treatment.
