Study On The Public Space Of Traditional Villages In Yangquan Based On The Perspective Of Farmers

The traditional village is an important carrier of Chinese traditional culture and the common cultural heritage of the Chinese,which embodies the concept of family,Confucianism and national spirit.When more and more traditional villages want to develop tourism as a springboard,we need to think about the future development of the village.The development predicament of the traditional village lies in the loss of the farmers' subjectivity.The village is losing the spirit and the peasants.In the village,the most urgent task is to rebuild the lifestyle of farmers,and an important approach is to renew public space.At present,the traditional village public space renewal often uses two approaches,according to the traditional style or using the method of city design.The former is far away from the farmer's life,and the latter is not consistent with the traditional style.Based on the investigation of the public space of Yangquan traditional villages,including the type,quantity,location and drawing of public space and interviews with villagers and village committees to understand the needs of the village and the villagers,this thesis analyzes the problems of the traditional village public space and the possible difficulties in the future development to study out the protection and renewal strategy of traditional village public space.According to the survey results,the public space of traditional village has the same cultural tradition,at the same time,influenced by the social and economic factors.In recent years,the construction of modern public space is deeply affected by the location and economy.The main difficulties of public space renewal include: the traditional village public space renewal construction can't cater to the changes of villagers' concept and lifestyle,social and cultural transformation caused the deserted traditional public space,the existing public space lacks function,the village lacks public activity,the development of village tourism is the priority,and the tourists interfere with the daily life of villagers.To meet the needs of farmers' production and life,folk activities,and cultural activities,and the safety and psychological needs of the left behind personnel,combined with case analysis,the strategies are followed: protection and restoration of the traditional style,protection of the rural culture,function update and import,revitalization of idle building,a better living environment and high quality life,to guide the villagers to change their ideas to participate in the public space renewal.In this study,two plots of Xinzhuang village are choosed to carry out the preliminary renewal design to discuss and summary the strategies.
