In China,the automotive industry has flourished in recent years.This causes a lot of oil to be consumed and exacerbates the problem of the energy shortages.Therefore,the search for alternatives to gasoline has become an urgent problem.As a kind of clean energy,methanol is highly volatile and flammable,which makes it a basic condition for fuel.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the application of methanol in automobile industry.In this paper,the problem of insufficient power of Methanol-gasoline Blend Fuel to replace gasoline is analyzed,and the Control System of Automobile Methanol Fuel Based on CPLD is proposed.The control system can dynamically change the single fuel injection quantity of the engine according to the concentration of methanol in the mixed fuel,in order to solve the problem of power shortage.The control system has two key technologies,one is to identify the concentration of methanol in the current fuel.The other is to be able to expand the fuel injection pulse signal of the ECU,in order to improve the duration of the single fuel injection,thereby increasing the single fuel injection.In this paper,the methanol concentration sensor is designed,and the production and selection of the sensor are studied in detail.For the expansion of the fuel injection pulse signal,the CPLD which has the advantage of dealing with the multipath signal is used to expand the original fuel injection signal of ECU.This paper introduces the design of the Methanol Fuel Control System from two aspects of hardware and software.The control system includes five modules: methanol concentration identification module,power supply voltage regulator module,peripheral circuit module,main control module and output module.In the aspect of software design,the system includes four functional modules,they are fuel identification,signal acquisition,signal broadening and signal output function module.The two major functions of the control system are realized by programming way: one of the functions is to determine the expansion coefficient of the fuel injection pulse signal based on the current concentration of methanol;another is to expand the fuel injection pulse signal based on the expansion coefficient.At the end of the paper,the function of the control system is tested,and the test results are analyzed and discussed.The experimental results show that the Methanol Fuel Control System based on CPLD can expand the fuel injection pulse signal automatically according to the concentration of methanol.After several tests,the system runs well and is stable and reliable.Therefore,the Methanol Fuel Control System is feasible,and has good application value.
