Application Of BIM Technology In The Operation And Maintenance Stage Of The Utility Tunnel

In recent years,the Utility Tunnel project has been paid more and more attention by the government.A large amount of money has been invested in the planning and construction of the the Utility Tunnel project.However,the level of operation and maintenance after construction has yet to be improved.The special structure and function of the Utility Tunnel also lead to the concealment,complexity and interlocking in the operation and maintenance process which increases the difficulty of operation and maintenance management.In this paper,BIM technology is put forward to solve the problems of operation,maintenance of Utility Tunnel,and the management and maintenance platform of Utility Tunnel based on BIM is put forward,so as to improve the management efficiency.This paper discusses the development of Utility Tunnel in China and foreign countries.It is found that the importance of Utility Tunnel is increasing with the development of cities both at home and abroad.Many department are involved in the operation and maintenance management of Utility Tunnel,including various professional pipeline company and operating company of Utility Tunnel.The operating company is the core department,which plays a coordinating role.The operation and maintenance management of the Utility Tunnel mainly depends on the artificial and monitoring system,and the intelligent monitoring system is the core of the city’s comprehensive management and maintenance system.With the continuous development of BIM technology,its deep application shows the characteristics of multi stages,integration,multi angle,coordination and popularization.The application of BIM technology in the operation and maintenance management of the Utility Tunnel is reasonable in technology,economy and environment.The functional requirements of operation and miantaince management model of Utility Tunnel are deeply excavated,and then the model is built.The model should complete the functions of real-time information collection,effective information integration,visual information management,visual real-time monitoring and automatic security monitoring and alarm.From the above functions,we summarize the monitoring system and BIM model data needed by the model.The Utility Tunnel operation and maintenance management model includes BIM operation management platform,operation and maintenance database and monitoring system.The BIM operation and maintenance management platform and operation database can assist the management of equipment/pipe basic information,safety information,maintenance information,cost information,contract information and employer information.Using the GUI prototype design software to design the prototype of management system.Using a project case to simulate the implementation process of the system to verify the effectiveness of the BIM based Utility Tunnel operation and maintenance management system.At last,this paper put forward the use and promotion suggestion of the operation and maintenance and maintenance management system from the external environment level,enterprise environment level and project environment level.
