| As private car travel has become the main mode of transport,an increasing number of private cars caused traffic congestion,environmental pollution and other issues.These issues directly lead to serious damages to the urban living environment.Solving the urban living environment deterioration has become an important issue during the city renewal and development.Chinese 13th Five Year Plan clearly emphasized the importance of the ecological environment.In recent years the slow traffic system has become an important development direction for the urban traffic system by its characteristics such as environment protection,and energy saving.The focus on the study of slow traffic systems became a trend in recent years.The domestic and foreign related research and practice on slow traffic system reveals that slow traffic system is indeed a kind of sustainable urban traffic system.The slow traffic system has significant effect on easing the urban living environment deterioration.From an urban planning viewpoint,this paper will establish an evaluation system through the quantitative research of the slow traffic system network.Four aspects were selected,namely the network layout,the station properties,the station capacity,and the characteristics of usage,as the main index in this evaluation system.After Taiyuan public bicycle network system was evaluated by this evaluation system,combined with the development and the actual situation of Taiyuan traffic system,it points out the deficiencies of current network planning,and puts forward the suitable planning form for Taiyuan public bicycle network system.In the end,it provides several feasible development modes for the Taiyuan public bicycle system.Results of this research are mainly embodied by two distinctive parts.Firstly,selecting the evaluation index and establishing the evaluation system for the slow traffic network system within the scope of urban planning.Secondly,conduct an analysis of the Taiyuan public bicycle network system to find out the existing deficiencies in this network system and to provide improvement implications for this system according to results. |
