With the computer technology developing rapidly,using programming language to professional software for secondary development has become common.As the core component in a circuit breaker,operating actuator plays an important role in protecting system circuit.But using professional software to perform mechanical design and electromagnetic simulation for operating actuator is not easy.Modeling and setup steps are extremely complicated,time-consuming,laborious and visibility is poor,especially for the personnel not familiar with the software operating,they do not know how to start.Therefore,according to the field of design and simulation for circuit breaker operating actuator,it has become an inevitable trend to design a kind of user-friendly software.In many programming tools,VB(Visual Basic)has powerful functional interface and simple operation,and as the development of language has been widely used in all walks of life.However,Solidworks and Ansys Maxwell are two most commonly used professional software to perform 3 d structure design and finite element simulation of electromagnetic field for circuit breaker operating actuator.Therefore,based on permanent magnet actuator as the research object,this paper choose VB as development tool to design the human-computer interaction interface for parameters input and operating selection,and establish the interface program and executing scripts to perform secondary development of the two background software Solidworks and Ansys Maxwell.The software is designed used for structure design and electromagnetic field simulation of permanent magnetic actuator,and is verified by instances.The content of this paper is divided into three parts: First,the introduction of structure and principle of permanent magnetic actuator interface and the actuator assembling demo interface are created.With permanent magnet drawing as an example,this paper introduces the parts parameterized design method,mainly including the macro file recording,editing and modifying,the program interface and program running.With the assembly process of moving iron core and the connecting rod as an example,the actuator automatic assembly technology is illustrated,mainly including establishing the software interface program,using OpenDoc6 and AddComponent function to load parts,and eventually building cooperate relationship by AddMate3 function for the parts.Then for the dynamic characteristics simulation of permanent magnetic actuator in this process,three interfaces are constructed for external settings,parameters input and result show.At the same time,the software program is designed including the record and modification of Ansys Maxwell script file and the tra nsfer and execution of text file between VB and Ansys Maxwell.At last part of the permanent magnetic actuator size is optimized by the electromagnetic field simulation software of permanent magnetic actuator based on this article,and the influences of capacitance voltage on opening speed is studied,which verifies the feasibility of the software design method.The same software design method is applied to repulsion actuator and magnetic actuator,and the different types of simulation experiment is carried out respectively by using the software design of two kinds of actuator,which verifies the portability of the software design method.The software design in this paper not only gives users more convenient operation but also has strong pertinence.It can be used in the study of secondary development software in other field,which provides a good idea to solve the contradiction between the professional needs and common software.
