Comfort is a main performance index for modern vehicle. Truck manufacturers must try to improve the comfort performance of their products. Study on reducing the vibration transmitted from the engine to the body is carried out for drive quality improvement. Engine is the main vibration source. Active vibration control system has a better effect than hydraulic mount in isolating high-frequency vibration, resulting in the reduction in interior noise and the improvement in ride comfort of the vehicle. In this paper, A new-style and high-powered electromagnetic actuator is designed, and its magnetic field is calculated. The stress of spring is analyzed with ANSYS. Dynamic model is set up and dynamics of electromagnetic actuator is simulated with MATLAB. The results show that the electromagnetic actuator is quite useful for active vibration control.
