Chassis design is the basis of the car,a good or bad directly determine whether the car chassis.And domestic chassis design also have a great gap with developed countries,it is especially in heavy duty truck.Automobile chassis consists of transmission system,driving system,steering system and brake system.Automobile chassis of the car's handling and stability performance,performance,braking performance and comfortable performance has a great influence,therefore,for the development of automobile chassis design has been the emphasis and difficulty in development of vehicle performance.Elaborated the YC1040 type truck chassis design method and process.This paper briefly introduces the truck when the car chassis layout factors should be considered;Focusing on YC1040 type truck chassis,chassis accessories,brake and so on to carry on the design,finally established YC1040 type truck chassis assembly.the frame of the 3 d model is established in Creo,import the workbench generated in the finite element model,this article introduces the basic principle of static structural analysis and process,and in the workbench to truck full of bending working condition,carrying torsion condition and emergency braking conditions for static analysis,the stress distribution shows that small car seats and part of the stress distribution of frame structure,can be structure optimization and reduce the quality of the frame.in the modal analysis module of ANSYS/Workbench has generated frame finite element model of unrestrained free modal analysis,draw up to 1000 HZ natural frequency and vibration mode,the frame itself is verified the rationality of the structure,the actual production after frame needs to be in the future will provide referential basis for the experimental modal analysis.Constraint modal analysis was carried out on the frame by frame before the 16 th order vibration mode diagram you can see,the overall frame of the maximum deformation is reduced free mode,seat back beam deformation is bigger,need further improvement.Expounded two optimization methods of frame structure to alleviate the longitudinal beam quality for the purpose,the frame girder cross section size optimization design,reduce the quality of 103.32 kg;According to the analysis of the previous chapter to the local structure improvement of the frame,the frame total mass reduced by 16.86%.For the improved frame model for static and modal analysis,proved that the strength of the structure of the improved stiffness meet the design requirements,still has a good dynamic and static properties,verify the feasibility of improvement project of frame.
