Glass fiber reinforced composites(FRP)are lightweight,high strength and corrosion resistant composites.In the field of ship application,the United States,Japan and South Korea have basically realized the glass toughening of small and medium-sized ships decades ago.However,the penetration rate of FRP fishing vessels in China is low,and the fiberglass toughening of small and medium-sized fishing vessels has a huge market to open up.However,the manufacture of FRP hull is mainly hand paste,supplemented by mechanical equipment,and the efficiency is low.Therefore,an automatic device which can improve efficiency and remove labor is designed and studied in this paper.In this paper,the advantages and disadvantages of various production processes of FRP are compared to better combine the advantages of various processes.The manufacturing process of FRP is divided into three modules according to resin spraying,fiber cloth laying and fiber cloth impregnation.The resin spraying machine combined with the six-axis manipulator was used to spray the resin according to the specified path,and the distribution transportation mode of the clamping or transporting equipment of various kinds of cloth was analyzed.The clamping function and transportation function of fiber cloth are designed.The mechanical parts in each module are selected.The stress,strain,and deformation displacement diagrams of the upper and lower layers of mounting frame and slide table are solved by statics analysis.The control aspect chooses Mitsubishi’s IQ-F series PLC,writes the stepper motor movement control program,the fiber cloth clamping transportation program.A simple interface programming is made for human-computer interaction,and the control interface is configured with the touch screen of WEINIIEW.The login interface,automatic mode interface,manual mode interface and alarm interface are configured.The EPLAN software is used to connect the main loop,control loop,telescopic air claw control loop,swing air claw control loop and PLC external control loop.The glass fiber reinforced plastic hull manufacturing device is designed to meet the mechanical strength,high efficiency and automatic production.
