UAV is short for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle.Comparing with airplanes with pilots,it has relatively low manufacturing cost, and it is flexible in usage, easy to use and maintain. With specific equipment designed,it is able to work towards various civilian and military purpose.UAV thus shows great potential value in the near future. With the development of technology and the industry, the market value of UAV gets more significant. It is predicted that the revenue of civilian use UAV industry in China will reach 60 billion RMB in 2019.The market value potential is expected to increase 59% per year before 2023.DD civilian UAV,developed by JJ institute, can serve multi-purpose,which focuses on high-end civilian market section.During the 13 th 5-years plan,JJ institute plans to develop an industry base of UAVs.JJ institute aims for a series of high performance, highly reliable, and low cost UAVs based on the current technology of DD civilian UAV.To ensure the successful development of DD civilian UAV,risk management is necessary from the initial stage of the project. The potential risk in the project should be reduced or transferred by established risk management methodologies. This thesis investigated the risk management of DD civilian UAV.The thesis introduces the background of DD civilian UAV development, analyzes the strategic significance of DD UAV project on JJ institute, and indicated the potential risk in the project. The risk in the project is analyzed and evaluated using delphi technique, subjective evaluation, analytical hierarchy process. The risk response strategy and monitering criteria for DD civilian UAV project are proposed.Detailed solutions are provided for significant risk factors.
