The Engineering Report Of Chinese Imperial Examinations Museum In Nanjing

Chinese Imperial Examinations Museum 1is a full display of Imperial Examination System and Culture Museum which built on Nanjing Jiangnan Examination Centre site.This dissertation is an engineering report which takes the Imperial Examinations Museum as the object.The author took part in the construction process of the project as a resident site architect.Because of complex requirement,special structure,new materials and new technology application,many units participating in the cooperation,make this project become a worthy of in-depth analysis on construction engineering examples.This dissertation objectively records from the project of gains and losses,advantages and disadvantages,experiences and lessons;At the same time,from all aspects of design,construction and completion,the author summarized methods of architects in the engineering construction.The project report is unfolded from the following aspects:The first chapter introduces the background of the Imperial museum project,including the historical background,project location,related units and schedule;the second chapter elaborates the design concept and the development of the imperial Museum design,through the introduction of master planning,dissertation explain the design concept and key elements of it,and explains how to design the architects "image" to the development of Engineering "image";third chapter to the fifth chapter details the practical problems and solutions from the structure,material and structure,which highlights the architects how to coordinate between the parties,with the work of various departments;the sixth chapter and the seventh chapter respectively record the construction of regret and anecdote of the museum,at last summarizing methods in the field of resident site design and self-gains.The significance engineering report has three aspects: firstly improving the vocational ability of myself,secondly showing the experience of building construction to all contemporary design team in assistant of site resident architect;finally leaving a reference records and archives about Imperial Museum to the contemporary city construction.
