The Transform Design Research Of Huili Ancient Imperial Examinations Lane Landscape

In the south of Sichuan province, with a history of more than 2000 years, Huili city is a historical and cultural city. Well known as "the Sichuan-Yunnan lock-and-key", because of its profound historical culture, by formal approval of the State Council in 2011, it was named as a national historical and cultural city.Ancient Huili landscape resources are very rich:old streets, drum tower, ancient gates and the wall, the imperial examinations lane, ancient dwellings, etc. The ancient imperial examinations lane in city has quite a profound and rich culture resource. The gray wall buildings and the ancient residential courtyards connected characteristic streets have witnessed the former glory of the ancient city, yet the well-preserved streets courtyard pattern has not been changed for hundreds of years. All of above demonstrates the best aspects of the ancient city.In terms of protection and construction of the ancient town, our country has made significant achievements in recent years, but there are also many shortcomings, such as only pay attention to the surface form of the architecture, and now, all over the country, every city tries to build a huge variety of "ancient town" based on the same building style, the same way of life, so all the "tourism products tend to be the same, make many similar urban images without particular characteristics". Because they rarely considered the social and cultural level of regional features, the historical and cultural heritages, and then local characteristic culture is gradually disappearing in modern city construction. At present, it is high time for the protection of ancient towns, so it is necessary to study the ancient town landscape design, through exploring and arranging of the inheritance and development of the ancient town, it will benefit the development of the society.This article tends to analyze the historical change of the formation of the ancient HuiLi city. Firstly, study and research its geography, economy, culture and regional characteristic culture; Secondly, by field investigation, it will focus on its location, layout, space form, landscape nodes, customs, culture and other field of the imperial examinations lane; Thirdly, by objective analysis research methods, it will study the formation of imperial examinations lane and its design elements; At last, combine its design ideas with the rebuilding of ancient Huili city.All above, it is the goal of this paper to form unique Southern Silk regional culture in harmony with nature, inclusive of rivers, collection of Sichuan- Yunnan culture, and this topic research is supposed to provide new ideas for the rebuilding of Huili ancient city and the landscape design of Chinese ancient towns.
