Study On Optimal Design Of Urban Forest Park Based On ROS

With the promotion of life quality and increasing spiritual demands,returning to forest to experience the nature and regulate body and mind becomes a new way for residents to relax.The forest land in city has become the first choice of residents' outdoor relaxation and recreation due to its unique environmental feature(regional characteristics)and good ecological environment.Therefore,urban forest parks came into being,its construction is in the ascendant,and has gradually become an important carrier of urban recreation.A series of problems and contradictions have been aroused due to its special nature of land use while facing the increasing activity needs and ecological environment protection.Optimal design to protect environment and meet the recreation demand of residents has become the inevitable choice for every urban forest parks.However,as an emerging park,insufficient objective and effective basis for construction and management and lack of technological means to maintain balance between environment and activities result in invalidation of optimal design.The result of design cannot solve the dilemma and contradictions which current urban forest park is facing fundamentally.In this context,oriented by the theory of recreation opportunity spectrum,this paper constructed proper recreation opportunity spectrum(ROS)for urban forest park through a field investigation and research of urban forest parks in a typical area;utilizing this evaluation system,quantified the level of recreational opportunities,thus found the inherent law of urban forest parks in the environment,activities and facilities,classified activity venues in the park systematically.Meanwhile optimal design strategies coping behavioral changes in urban forest parks for different types of recreational activity features are suggested in order to guide the comprehensive development of urban forest park effectively.This paper is divided into seven parts,first chapter is the foundation of the thesis,the central theme of the thesis is proposed on the basis of an overview of the development background of urban forest parks.Meanwhile the relevant concepts are explained,,the purpose and significance of the optimal design of urban forest park are discussed(introduced);The second chapter makes a clearer understanding of development of urban forest park by summarizing the background and the construction development process and trend of the urban forest park after clarifying the research object and method,thus reveals the problems occurred in construction and development process of urban forest park;A detailed analysis of the environmental characteristics of urban forest parks is presented in Chapter 3,followed by the alternation in tourists' behavior with the change in the relationship between urban forest parks and cities,and further elaborates the influence of the change of the activities of the tourists in the urban forest park to the park environment,in order to find out the root of the problems in the construction and management of urban forest parks,including the uncertain nature of the park,lack of positioning on functional activity organization and lack of technical means to determine the relevance between environment and activities.Chapter 4 presents the method and process of constructing recreational opportunity spectrum in urban forest park,mainly to adjust the environmental factors in urban forest park recreation opportunity spectrum and quantitative method to develop classification criteria,finally constructs the recreational opportunities spectrum of "seven standard four types of " which is suitable for urban forest park,and lays theoretical foundation for the next chapter of urban forest park optimal design strategy and urban forest park recreation opportunity spectrum application research.The universal design strategy for urban forest park is put forward in chapter 5,which leads a right direction for the following construction,promotes the effective protection and rational utilization of urban forest park,so that it can give full play to ecological and social benefits.In chapter 6,urban forest park recreation opportunity spectrum is applied in research of Chongqing Zhaomushan forest park,constructs recreation opportunity spectrum for the park by checking the physical environment,social factors and management condition of the park,determines its recreational space type,in order to achieve its recreational function of the division and the guidance of tourists' activities.Chapter 7 summarizes the thesis.
