Vehicular Ad-Hoc Network has been developed by Ad Hoc network,which is mainly used in vehicle tracking,navigation,road detection and road traffic safety warning.VANET network node density and high-speed mobile,resulting in frequent changes in the network topology,making the existing Ad Hoc routing protocol difficult to meet the VANET network environment.As the main application scenario of VANET network,the study of reliable routing protocols suitable for urban scene is of great significance to the development of VANET network.In the routing protocol of VANET,most of the studies are only based on Ad Hoc network routing protocol has been improved,with real VANET network application scenarios and vehicle node characteristics research work and existing routing methods tend to use some auxiliary information,such as vehicle distribution,road distribution.In this paper,we study the routing protocol of VANET in urban scenes.The main work is as follows: the existing Ad Hoc network routing protocols are classified,and the advantages and disadvantages of various routing protocols used in VANETs are analyzed and compared.According to the characteristics of VANET,the design of routing protocol based on clustering mechanism is more suitable for urban scene.As a kind of unique vehicle node,the bus has the advantages that most common vehicle nodes do not have,and its running line is fixed,the relative speed is low,the number is small and easy to manage.Therefore,the research on the design of VANET routing protocol using bus nodes to improve routing performance.Firstly,the data packet transmission model based on bus node is improved to solve the problem of data transmission between different bus nodes.Then,the network clustering strategy is introduced,and the VANET routing algorithm based on bus node clustering is proposed.The algorithm divides the VANET network into different clusters with the bus nodes as the cluster head nodes.The nodes in the cluster need to maintain the same routing table together.The nodes in the cluster take the active route,and the cluster nodes use the on-demand Routing,through the clustering strategy to reduce the entire VANET network to participate in the number of routing nodes,thus improving the city scene due to the huge number of vehicles caused by the VANET network congestion.The performance comparison among BBCR and AODV,CBRP and R2 R is made by using network simulation software VanetMobiSim2.0 and NS2.In order to compare the fairness of the simulation,the flood routing of the AODV routing protocol discovery process is changed to directional flooding.The results show that the performance of BBCR is better than that of the other three protocols in terms of packet delivery rate,end-to-end average delay,the number of hops and normalized overhead.
