Due to the rapid transformation of network topology and unstable link quality, the end-to-end is frequently disconnected, and the node has the characteristics of"storage-carry-forward". This network is called the VDTN. But the traditional network routing protocol can't be applied to this new architecture, improving the communication performance is the main problem which VDTN needs to solve. This paper takes VDTN routing algorithm as the main research objective and proposes a Public Transport System Routing Protocol for VDTN, which aims at improving the data packet delivery ratio and reducing end-to-end delay.PTSRP protocol takes the clustering mechanism, and the clustering process is divided into two parts, cluster node selection and cluster division. The first part takes the bus nodes in the whole network as the cluster head nodes. The second part of the ordinary nodes chooses the clusters to be attributed by the degree of correlation and stability. The whole routing process is divided into inner-cluster routes and inter-cluster routes according to the location of the destination nodes. Because the correlation has been considered in the cluster, only the link connection time is selected when the relay node is selected; The cluster is clustered by QoS and inter-node connection hold time, and then the best next hop relay node is evaluated in the way of inner-cluster routing. In the network, the storage capacity of nodes is limited, and the delay network has distributed characteristics, a cache management algorithm based on packet feature is designed. Based on the number of message forwarding, the algorithm further considers the lifetime of the message. The above routing protocol greatly reduces the network load and resource consumption caused by the flooding method. The simulation environment is simulated by The One simulation platform, and the Epidemic routing protocol and PTSRP are simulated in three scenarios. The simulation results show that PTSRP can effectively improve the packet forwarding rate, reduce end-to-end delay, increase the network delivery rate by about 15%, and reduce the delay by about 10%.Therefore, PTSRP is suitable for the current urban VDTN Requirements for network performance.
