In recent years,the problem of water pollution has been aggravated.While a large number of chemical decontamination and biological decontamination methods have many problems.Shortwave ultraviolet(UVC whose wavelength is 253.7nm)can effectively inactivate microorganisms and degrade organics.So the field of sewage treatment has made an urgent need for ultraviolet decontamination technology.UV lamps exist the following two questions: the effective spectrum of ultraviolet radiation attenuation fades faster,the effecti ve life of UV lamp is short;light efficiency is low,the consumption of electricity is large when UVC irradiance achieves the standard.These questions restrict the application and promotion of UV decontamination technology seriously.An electronic ballast prototype for 165 W ultraviolet lamp is designed firstly in the paper which power can be adjusted.The prototype adopts half bridge LCC resonant circuit.To prevent power overshoot,piecewise control strategy is adopted: sliding frequency soft start control in starting stage,constant frequency control and variable power given transition process control,constant power control in steady state.The experiment result reveal that the electronic ballast can drive the UV lamp reliably.To study the relationship between filament power consumption and ultraviolet irradiance,a circuit model of ultraviolet lamp is established in this paper.The identification method of circuit model parameter is given in this paper based on kirchhoff voltage law.The simulation circuit of UV lamp equivalent circuit is built and the rationality of model parameter is verified.Through identification method of circuit model parameter,the filament power consumption can be achieved in deferent power level.The influence of lamp power on model parameter,filament power consumption and lamp parameter is analyzed.Meanwhile,the relationship between filament power consumption and UVC irradiance is revealed.For solving the problem that the UV efficiency of the ultraviolet lamp is low,the influence of driving parameter on UV lamp irradiance is studied in this paper.Firstly,the influence of lamp power on all spectral irradiance is analyzed from the aspect of excitation and transition of mercury atom based on the theory of mercury atom spectrum.Secondly,through driving circuit parameter optimization experiment,the relationship between driving parameter such as driving frequency and UVC irradiance is given in this paper.Finally,based on the theory of influence of filament power consumption on UVC irradiance,the driving structure of the electronic ballast is optimized and double parallel capacitor circuit is adopted.Related performance tests of the ballast are carried out.Under the same condition,the optimized UVC irradiance is increased more than 10%,with the loss of the filament reducing.
