Research On The Architectural Culture And Environmental Space Of The Private Manor In Northern Shaanxi Region

Nowadays,with the rapid development of China's economy,the process of urbanization and new rural construction is transforming the appearance of villages and towns in a very high speed.Meanwhile,the traditional culture and the history of the town are gradually being forgotten by people and the traditional residential buildings are also seriously threatened at the same time.This paper mainly focuses on the typical representation of the private manor in northern Shaanxi,namely the settlement of the family houses in northern Shaanxi.They set a good example of understanding and studying the traditional architectural space and traditional culture in northern China,and it is also a microcosm of the history of the development of the old Chinese clan culture.They contain five thousand years of traditional culture of China and they're the most complete cave-style castle in our country,which are the crystallization of the wisdom and thought of ancient people.However,how to fully balance the rapid socio-economic development with the heritage of these excellent traditional architectural culture and national culture,requires us a further study.Based on this starting point,the author participates in the national social science fund item which is called the spatial memory and cultural heritage of the folk ancestral hall in Shaanxi,Shanxi and Henan region.A lot of research has been done in Shanxi,Shaanxi and Henan provinces and we also make a rather comprehensive study on the residential architectural space and traditional culture in these areas.This paper explores the origin,historical and cultural background,architectural space form,decorative arts culture,social and cultural value,inheritance of traditional culture and the protection and exploitation of private manor in northern Shaanxi.Mainly taken some huge manor of the northern Shaanxi Yulin area as an example,some comparisons and induction are made with the Henan Kang million manor.By conducting this research,we can not only sum up a very good literature of architecture,landscape and social science,but also find the evolution of the major families in northern Shaanxi and the social turmoil behind these various estates,which shows the unique architectural culture value of the manor in northern Shaanxi.Based on this,we can make a further improvement of the proper inheritance,protection and utilization of the private manor in northern Shaanxi.
