According to the Investigation of the development of EPC(Design Procurement Construction)projects in recent years under DBIA(American Institute of Design and Construction),After 2017,The Market share of the total contract management mode in the construction market will be more than 50%,And EPC general contract management model is becoming the leader in so many engineering general contracting models.Its share is increasing year by year.And the emergence of BIM(Building Information Model)is causing the second revolution after the construction industry CAD(Computer Aided Design).Particularly,In a series of documents Promulgated by National housing authority,BIM is fully emphasized and affirmed.Predictably.The application of BIM in EPC project will be a trend of information management of general contract management model.However,the application of BIM in construction enterprises is occupying a lower level.The risk of BIM application does not cause enough attention.In particular,the risk of BIM application in EPC projects is rarely considered.If these risks are underestimated,we will face the failure of BIM applications and even EPC projects will suffer significant losses.Combining the application point of BIM in EPC project,in this paper,the risk management problem during the process of BIM application in EPC project was deeply analyzed.And mainly did the following researches:First,through combing the relevant theory of BIM application of EPC project,the BIM application point of EPC project was summarized,the BIM application risk characteristics of EPC project have been put forward,and different participants were considered in each stage of EPC project,the BIM application risk identification dimension model in EPC project has been built.Second,searching with the key words in the literature database,and combined withpractical experience and expert survey results to analyze the data,to identify the BIM application risk of EPC project,established the set of BIM application risk assessment index in EPC project and prepared the level classification for risk evaluation.Third,combined with the characteristics of this paper,selected fuzzy comprehensive analytic hierarchy process(FAHP)as the research method after comparing and analyzing with the common risk assessment methods,and established BIM application risk evaluation model of EPC project.According to using the model to evaluate the actual case,the applicability of the evaluation model in the BIM application risk assessment of EPC project was assured.Fourth,in order to reduce the loss of BIM application in EPC project,meanwhile,improve the risk management ability and level,this paper put forward the method and process of BIM application risk management of EPC project based on actual cases,and provided reference and method for specific risk factors,and built the BIM application risk management system.Through the research of this paper,it will provide a beneficial reference for the EPC project to adopt BIM,and this can avoid or reduce the loss because of lacking consideration or following the trend blindly.
