In recent years,with the rapid development of automotive electronic technology and the improvement of energy saving and environmental awareness,electric power steering technology has been rapid development and widely applied.Electric power steering system achieves the matching of speed and torque,and improves the driver's driving experience,and is widely favored by users.It will be the direction of the development of steering technology.At present,there are many deficiencies in the applied teaching research of electric power steering system.In this paper,the research and development of electric power steering test platform for the electric power steering are practiced.Through the research on the structure and working principle of electric power steering system,and combine with the demand of higher vocational education and teaching application,this paper puts forward a set of design to the test platform.According to the actual condition,the components and parts of electric power steering system were selected.The platform are designed by the basis of the parts and the functional requirements of the test platform,and the measurement,position design,error analysis,3D model,assembly model,process analysis,and develop a perfect fit to test bench accessories are included in the design by applying CATIA.Production assembly operation stable,and it can achieve the expected standard.Control theory and controller of electric power steering are researched and tested,including the electric power steering system control mode,the motor control strategy,controller structure,motor drive circuit,the power supply controller,the main control chip,motor signal etc..Based on the application requirements,the permanent magnet DC brush motor is selected as the booster motor.Based on the analysis of analog signal and power supply module in the test platform,the power module,signal simulation module are designed and researched,and the correlation signal is tested,the result shows that it can achieve the design standards.Virtual instrument is the actual instrument function software,and LabVIEW is widely used currently.It is based on a graphical language software development platform.The upper computer is designed by using LabVIEW 2014.Firstly analyzing the desired signal acquisition signal,speed signal and fault signal,and the torque sensor signal,the voltage waveform signal of motor.The program is designed with the idea of modularization.The electric power steering system and data acquisition card can cooperate with each other to achieve data acquisition,and demonstrate the data on the PC side,which making the electric power system works more vivid and easy to understand.The main research contents include: serial communication,acquisition card selection,login interface design,main interface design,program framework,serialparameter configuration,data read and write,data processing and data display,data storage.In order to verify the performance of upper computer,the system is tested.The result shows that the design can meet the functional requirements.
