Energy and environment are the major challenges facing the world today.Application of renewable energy in buildings is an effective way to solve this problem.Select the appropriate renewable energy technology for the building to achieve large-scale construction of renewable energy applications which can bring long-term environmental benefits,economic benefits,social benefits.At present,the application of renewable energy in buildings is a hot topic.Selecting a suitable renewable energy technology for a given building is a complex project.Considering that it is a multi criteria decision making problem with complex and uncertainty.Need to integrate a variety of factors.So the Multiple Criteria Decision Making(MCDM)is introduced to solve the problem.The main work of this paper is as follows:Firstly,by introducing the classification model,the types of buildings are classified according to the conventional perspective classification and the energy perspective classification.Then the object of this study is determined.Based on the selection principle of the index,the initial evaluation index is obtained by combing the research results of a large number of previous researchers and the opinions of experts;according to the characteristics of the research object and the actual situation,this paper refines and sorts out the evaluation index which is suitable for the research object;according to the system analysis method to adjust the index,then an evaluation index system is established to evaluate the matching between residential buildings and renewable energy technologies in the end.Secondly,this paper defines the connotation of each index in the evaluation system,and puts forward a quantitative method for each two level index.Considering the uncertainty and multi criteria of evaluation content,the ELECTRE III method of MCDM is introduced which is used as the method to build the evaluation model in this paper.Considering the absolute preference of decision maker and absolute limit to reality,this paper put forward the concept of "absolutely excellent threshold" to optimize the evaluation model.Finally,the evaluation model is used to evaluate five renewable energy systems for four types of residential buildings in Hangzhou.Then a relatively appropriate renewable energy system is determined.The results show that the residential buildings in Hangzhou:low rise residential building is suitable for solar thermal system,air-source heat pump system,ground-source heat pump system and water-source heat pump system;multi story residential building is suitable for solar thermal system and air-source heat pump system;Small high-rise and high-rise residential buildings are suitable for air-source heat pump system.
