| Hypertension is one of the typical chronic diseases in modern society,which is difficult to cure.Its main methods for treatment is prevention and self health management.Gamification is a new concept which comes from the Internet age.It can effectively improve users’ participation and product fractional conversion.The organic combination of gamification and products for self health management can just make up the shortfall of patients’ lack of motivation.This paper is designed to order a new idea for developing products for self health management and reduce the cost for cure through research on gamification and self health management of hypertension.First,this paper finds that problems like lack of motivation and common product homogeneity exist in products for self health management of hypertension through Literature research on self health management of hypertension and application status of research on gamification.This paper concludes the process of gamification for products for self health management based on theoretical and case study and interactive design center in users.The process can be divided into study and classification of users,confirming product objective,quantification of users’ behavior,deployment of gamification,prototype design and test optimization.Second,this paper tries to apply this process to self health management of hypertension.User models are divided into three types: new managers,temporary managers and senior managers.New managers is worst in self-management,who need health education,condition monitoring and sport management through analyzing their behavior and usage scenario combining with user research results.Main function of products is identified into monitor,sport,challenge and guide through the combination of gamification.Then do the prototype design through performance test and subjective evaluation on prototype,and offer later optimized direction.The main innovation point of this research is the introduction of gamification into self health management,which may probably solve the problem of poor autonomy and persistence.In this paper,the author comes up with a process of application of gamification to self health management,which offers a reference direction to the design of the similar products. |
