Floods are one of the main natural disasters that people are confronted with and flood control is directly related with the economic development and social stability of countries and regions. Songhua River base is one of the domestic regions with relatively serious flood disasters. Numerical simulation of the flood process in this drainage basin and visualization of the flood process with related technological means can provide technical support for the flood warning and flood control decision in this drainage basin.Based on the western traffic information construction project 'The key technology and demonstration of the dynamic monitoring of Yilan navigation-power junction project', this dissertation analyzes problems facing the routing simulation of flood at Yilan navigation-power junction section of the Songhua River and gets the three-dimensional visualizing technology applied to the secondary development of flood numerical simulation result to carry out research on the numerical simulation and visualization method of the flood at Yilan navigation-power junction reach of the Songhua River on the basis of Mike software and GIS system aiming at the shortcomings like the Mike software modeling process being complicated, the calculation result unable to be integrated with the buildings and natural environment within the research area and relatively worse intuition etc.The contents of this research include:(1) Analyze the research status and achievements of the flood numerical simulation and visualization technology both at home and abroad, expound the fundamental principles of the visualization problems of digital terrains and flood numerical simulation and study the basis of the visualization system, that is, the component-type three-dimensional visualization module and the basic framework of the visualization system. Take advantage of the existing data to conduct hydrological analysis on the Yilan navigation-power junction section of the Songhua River and confirm the designed flood and the relation curve between the water level and flow.(2) Study the establishment method and technique process of the data source models of various plotting scales and coordinate systems based on GIS and CAD, solve the related problems in the formation process of digital terrains like the data transformation and selection of parameters etc. and put forward the data processing method of the system; The data results processed by this method can be applied to the flood numerical simulation and the construction of the dynamic visualization scene of the flood.(3) Based on the research result of the digital terrain processing method, build the geometric model, calibrate the roughness coefficient and confirm the boundary condition in the Mike software and conduct analysis method research on the flood numerical simulation.Simulate the flood at the main stream of the Songhua River and Mutankiang River; verify the elements like flooding range, flooding duration, flooding depth and water velocity etc.;conduct numerical simulation analysis on the flood under various working conditions and extract the data needed by the three-dimensional visualization of the flood process.(4) Carry out research on the three-dimensional model construction of the buildings at the navigation-power junction, three-dimensional scenery fusion of the general navigation-power junction plane and the key technology for the system platform development. Establish the three-dimensional scene construction method based on the GIS theory, 3Ds Max and CityEngine, study the fusion and optimization method of three-dimensional scene and solve the related problems in the development process of the visualization system like the three-dimensional scene visualization, the real-time synchronous display of the two-dimensional information and the flow dynamic visualization of the scene etc. and complete the development of the flood dynamic visualization system of Yilan navigation-power junction.
