Modern tram is a new way of public transportation after technological improvement, and its own characteristics meet the needs of contemporary urban development. In this paper, modern trams and different modes of transport are compared and analyzed, and the method of network distribution is accorded with the characteristics of modern trams.First of all, this paper introduces the development and characteristics of trams, determines its role in urban traffic demand, and analyzes its relationship with other modes of transportation, studies the application patterns of modern trams and the application in the region Sex.The advanced "four-stage" method is used to establish the forecasting model. At each stage of the forecast,a more reasonable algorithm and model are selected to forecast the passenger flow in Tianshui. Then summarize the different morphological structure of the network, study the different factors that affect the scale of the network, and use the appropriate method to calculate the scale of the network. Finally, based on the forecast, the calculated data and combined with the predicted passenger flow, get the network planSecondly, the comparison of different network plan.Through the use of multi-level decision-making evaluation methods, and select the appropriate evaluation indicators to establish tram network evaluation index system, the use of analytic hierarchy process to determine the weight of the index. Finally, the paper analyzes and analyzes the current situation and planning prospects of Tianshui City, and forecasts the traffic demand in Tianshui City. The method and strategy of tectonics of Tianshui tram line are discussed with examples.
