Research On The Scale And Layout Of Suburban Railway Network

As an important part of urban rail transit,suburban railway has the advantages of intensive,efficient,safe,reliable,economic and convenient compared with highway transportation.The construction of suburban railways can greatly facilitate the travel of residents between large cities and surrounding satellite cities,and alleviate a series of urban diseases such as traffic congestion and air pollution.Building suburban railway has become the only way for the development of big cities.The reasonable scale and layout of the suburban railway network can effectively avoid the blindness of planning and construction,which is conducive to the full play of the social and operating benefits of the suburban railway.However,the development of suburban railways is still in its infancy in China,and related research is incomplete.The domestic and foreign studies have not combined the development characteristics of the suburban railway and cannot be directly used in the planning of the suburban railway network in China.In order to avoid the blindness of the suburban railway planning and construction in China,and to seek a reasonable line network scale and layout plan,this article conducts in-depth research on the above issues.Firstly,this paper introduces the concept of suburban railway and its development at home and abroad,expounds the technical characteristics and functional positioning of suburban railway,and the influencing factors of the scale and layout of the railway network,and analyzes the characteristics of suburban railway and the differences and connections with other rail transit modes in detail,which lays the foundation for the subsequent research on the scale and layout of suburban railway network.Secondly,from the point of view of the relationship between the scale and layout of the railway network,this paper analyzes the shortcomings of the existing research methods of the scale and layout of the railway network used in the suburban railway.Based on the characteristics of the suburban railway itself and its scale and layout of the railway network,this paper puts forward the methods and ideas for the scale and layout of the suburban railway network.In terms of line network scale,on the basis of the traditional traffic demand forecasting method,combined with the characteristics of suburban railway passenger flow,it is divided into class I passenger flow and class II passenger flow.Different methods are used to forecast respectively to improve the accuracy of prediction.In terms of line network layout,according to the characteristics of suburban railway network layout,the layout idea of "line first,node second" is adopted.First,the initial layout scheme is determined according to the passenger flow construction conditions,and then the final scheme is determined according to the node importance method.Finally,taking Shanghai suburban railway as the research object,using the method and model proposed in this paper,the scale of Shanghai suburban railway network in the future is calculated,and the corresponding layout scheme is determined.The comprehensive analysis of the final prediction results and the layout scheme shows that the results are consistent with each other,which more reflects the development characteristics of the suburban railway network scale and layout,and more conforms to the development demand of Shanghai for suburban railway.The research results can provide some reference for the network planning of Shanghai suburban railway.
