In order to reduce the transmission line area and to reduce the electrical spacing to achieve compression transmission line corridors,we study the D-type Lattice Composite Material Tower of 110 kV Transmission Line,which can significantly reduce the probability of lightning flashover fault,ice flashover and galloping.Through insulating property analysis,the modified epoxy resin composite samples,which are getting in the water damp,dirt attached to the case,can still maintain enough excellent insulation performance.Through insulation performance of tower body and cross arm study,the result put forward to using the lightning impulse insulation tower gap distance to improve the lightning protection design of tower lightning performance,and proposing a new lightning protection design scheme.Through the experimental research on artificial contamination of tower head,the improved scheme of tower body and insulator is obtained.Through the stable tube of theoretical calculation and finite element analysis of bearing capacity,the calculation method of material bearing capacity of the D-type composite materials is verified.Through research,some characteristics of D-type Lattice Composite Material Tower of 110 kV Transmission Line was revealed and the results presented in this paper can be used as reference for the design of 110 kV Composite Material Tower.
