| Transmission line is the artery of power system,connection of power plants and substations,transmit power to each user of the production and consumption,so the power transmission is a necessary link in the power system.At present,the steel tower is widely used in transmission lines because of its good mechanical properties and easy processing.However,with the increasing scarcity of land resources,the use of the iron tower malpractice began to appear,which is mainly reflected in the large area,construction costs and operation and maintenance costs.The composite tower has been widely used in transmission lines due to its high mechanical strength,good insulation and corrosion resistance.This paper is mainly analyzes the lightning protection performance of tower through the study of composite material tower lightning withstand level and lightning trip rate,the simulation of composite material tower by using PSCAD-EMTDC simulation software,the lightning protection structure is optimized,and the lightning protection measures are simulated.Firstly,this paper introduces the features of composite material tower,analyzes the mechanism of lightning,introduced lightning protection index parameters and the calculation method of lightning withstand level and lightning trip out rate,introduces the existing line lightning protection measures.Secondly,the transmission line model is established by using PSCAD software as simulation platform for the lightning protection,then simulation and calculation of tower parameters for the lightning withstand level and lightning trip-out rate,structural optimization design of the lightning protection structure of the composite material tower,and select the best parameters of the tower according to the relevant rules and regulations.Then,simulation study on the relationship between transmission line lightning withstand level and lightning trip rate and tower grounding resistance,line arrester,lightning line of these lightning protection factors.Finally,compared with the optimized composite material tower and the ordinary iron tower,the simulation results show that the composite material tower has the superiority in lightning protection. |
