Research On The Application Of BIM Technology In Project Management Of The General Contract Unit

In recent years,due to the rapid development of urbanization and modernization in China’s construction,the higher requirements in construction enterprise management,technical level and construction abilities will need to be put forward.At present,the original way of construction market development,the backward technological level and the lack of high-quality skilled personnel,having hindered the development of construction industry in our country.Thus,construction enterprises are trying to introduce new technology to change this situation.In all emerging technologies,BIM technology stands out as a kind of important technology of advanced.The application of BIM technology has promoted the informatization of construction industry development in our country,effectively improved the level of project management and the efficiency of construction,ensured the quality and benefits of the engineering.As the application of BIM technology has been promoted widely by the government and related departments,more and more construction companies began to contact the BIM technology and applied in practice,which obtained a good effect.The mainly studies of this paper is the application of BIM technology in project management of general contract units.First of all,the writer has summarized the research status of BIM technology at home and abroad,and narrated the concept and characteristics of BIM technology by consulting the relevant literature.Secondly,this paper has elaborated some major general contracting model in our country,and analyzed the problems existed in the different phases of the project management for general contractor at present,such as the drawing review stage,the design development phase,the construction program establishment,the construction site management,the construction schedule management,etc.Also,explained the value of BIM technology in each stage of the project management which mentioned above are detailed description.Finally,combined with the practical application of BIM technology in first period of QCD heyuan,this paper has introduced in detail the application value and benefits of BIM technology in project management of general contract units.The application of BIM technology can effectively improve the informatization of the construction industry,and realize the fine management of the project.It promotes the technological progress and the transformation and upgrading of our country’s construction industry.However,the application of BIM technology in our country still at the preliminary stage,which still exist many problems in the actual engineering application process that hindered the development of BIM technology.So how to apply and use BIM technology still need further exploration and research.
