With the rapid development of the economy,the human demand for electricity increases,that caused by the energy shortage,environmental pollution,climate change and other serious problems,the low carbon has become a strategic objective of economic and social development,large-scale development of clean and renewable energy is an important measure to solve the energy and environmental challenges and inevitable trend.In recent years,the rapid development of wind power technology,power generation costs have been significantly reduced,but the wind power with seasonal,intermittent and random shortcomings,to overcome the impact of volatility to achieve large-scale grid is still a big problem.This paper summarizes the problems faced by wind power development,introduces the principle of wind power and pumped storage power station and its combined operation,benefit analysis method,demonstration wind power and pumped storage operation is an important means to solve the current problems.Combined with the position of my work in a regional power grid in northern china,using adaptive coevolutionary algorithm based on chance constrained programming theory,respectively by system of economic benefit and environment benefit maximization as the goal to build a pumped-storage power station and the joint optimal operation model of wind farms,analyses the load in valley of the pumped storage power plant and wind power given benefit.It can be seen that the system can achieve better economic and environmental benefits under the combined operation of wind power and pumped storage.The pumped storage power station makes the wind power output smoother and the controllability is greatly improved,and the wind power output is improved.In the current peak and valley tariffs,the joint operation can be in the trough of cheap energy savings,in the peak period of re-use,resulting in significant economic benefits;In addition,the joint operation can reduce winds,improve wind energy utilization Rate,reduce the thermal power output,improve the energy structure of the system,bringing considerable environmental benefits.Therefore,it is of great significance to combine the pumped storage power station with wind power generation to solve the current wind power problem.The development potential is huge.
