The tandem warhead is usually adapted to damage the target which puts on the explosive reactive armor.By the front part of the tandem warhead remove the interference of reactive armor against the main warhead.According to the principle of the front part of the tandem warhead,it can be divided into two categories: detonation and penetration.In this paper,the research for pierce through without detonation of the reactive armor of the small caliber shaped charge is carried out,which provides a certain reference for the design of the front of the antitank tandem warhead.This paper first introduces the development status of the explosive reactive armor warhead and the pierce through without explosive armor warhead in domestic and foreign,and the explosive shock initiation and initiation criterion are described and calculation formula of residual jet velocity.Secondly,the simulation and analysis of the jet forming process of shaped charge with different diameters by using copper and PTFE as the drug hood material are carried out.Understand the basic properties of the loaded explosive structure.In the end,the simulation and analysis of the impact armor of small caliber shaped charge.By the derived calculation method of residual velocity of jet,Calculate the remaining jet velocity in the case of understanding the jet performance parameters and the thickness of the shield before the sandwich charge,then use u2 d criterion to judge whether the detonation initiation.The conclusion according to the above show that:(1)Copper jet have better stability of Wear without detonation than PTFE.(2)Through the analysis of the jet penetration process,it discovered that the intensity of loading of Interlayer charge from Precursor wave and the compression deformation of panel that generated by panel is not enough to make explosives violent reaction during small shaped charge penetrating armours.Explosives always have a variety of reactions,such as burning、deflagration and local explosion in this case of jet loaded directly.(4)The shock initiation of a small diameter jet to a shell charge can be simplified as the problem of shock initiation bare explosive by the residual jet through shield.(4)Comparing to other structures,copper type medicine cover a shaped charge with 30 mm caliber has stronger ability of penetration and better wear without detonation performance and stability.
