A New Stone Cutter

The explosive cutting effect of shaped charge in the stone have been simulated by the experiments of cutting in the cement models mostly with powdery emulsion explosive(PEE). The influence on powdery emulsion explosive property by adding inertial substance is investigated. And the influence of cutting deepness because of the shaped charge metal liner's thickness or angle is tested. On the basis of experiments of single-hole and double-hole cement model fragmentation by using the shaped charge ways, the feasibility and experimentation scheme in the stone with explosive cutting by means of shaped charge is analyzed. The results indicate that with the increment of the inertial substance, the detonation velocity and brisance of powdery emulsion explosive become lower gradually. When the shaped charge liner's angle is about 90?, the cutting effect is the best. By changing the content of the inertial substance, the detonation velocity and brisance will change and the explosive cutting effect will become better.
