Study On Conversion Of Old Industrial Plant To Exhibition Building Based On The Ecological Concept

It is particularly common that the old industrial plants are reused for exhibition buildings in the civil transformation.However,this transformation also has some problems.Some of them tend to simple reuse,which lack of consideration for the comfort of users and efficient use of energy resources.This paper aims to research the old industrial plants renovation for the exhibition building from artificial elements(building interior space)and environmental elements based on ecological ideas and related disciplines.Firstly,based on the analysis of current situation,the paper selects three typical cases in Beijing which lists the advantages and disadvantages of transformation from the ecological perspective.Then the author sums up the existing compatibility and dissimilarity from actuality of old industrial plant transforming into exhibition building.Through the elaboration of advantages and summary,the author sums up transforming path and focus based on ecological concept of the old industrial plant transformation.Through the above analysis of the study and theoretical interpretation,this paper puts forward transformation and design method based on the ecological concept in both internal space and environmental elements.In the aspect of internal space transformation,under the guidance of openness,comfort and high efficiency principle,author puts forward that improving interaction and openness of space can be achieved by linear remodeling,embedding in the cavity and adding active separation;improving the use efficiency of internal space can be achieved by clever organization of streamline,the integration of new exhibition function in the old space structure,the use of single space and elastic transformation;creating a natural,comfortable and pleasant exhibition space can be achieved by use of indoor and outdoor natural landscape,the addition of public facilities and a reasonable match of original space interface material and color.In the aspect of transformation of environmental factors,under the guidance of harmony and organic coordination of site,energy saving,environmental protection and affordable principle,author puts forward that improving organic integration of building and surrounding environment can be achieved by setting square and guide space and environment optimization;optimizing the lighting environment of exhibition space can be achieved by optimizing original structure,increasing the reflective component and light guide body;improving the wind environment of building can be achieved by changing the original shape,optimizing the form of ventilation holes and setting the penetration body;using clean energy in old industrial buildings can be achieved by increasing photoelectric and photothermal conversion about the combination of solar energy and old buildings.At last,the author takes a practical reconstruction case of power plant of electromechanical workshop in Benxi to verify technical methods of transformation.This paper adopts research method of “research-theory-practice” and learning from the research results of ecology and related disciplines in the aspect of case analysis,transformation direction and focus;this paper discusses the article content in depth using combination of theoretical research and case analysis when elaborating transformation principle and summarizing specific design method.
