The aspect of Rural waterfront plant landscape research results not many.In this paper,by studying the waterfront plant community of Daxi River centered in Shuxiang Village,different types of waterfront plant communities with ecological beauty are constructed,and the landscape quality of waterfront plant community is finally improved.It has the research and application value for the construction of rural waterfront landscape,and has practical guiding significance for the optimization of waterfront plant community,rural plant species and selection.The research results are as follows:(1)A total of 168 species,67 families and 140 genera were investigated.Along the Daxi River,among which Compositae,Gramineae,Polygonaceae,Labiaceae and Legumaceae were dominant in the distribution of family genera,and the main species were Pterocarya stenoptera,Melia azedarach and Triadica sebifera.In terms of community structure,the middle layer was lacking,and the lower layer was most affected by environmental changes.The changes of plant species and structure in different sections,different families and different habitats were analyzed,the advantages and disadvantages of plant communities in Daxi River were summarized,and the ideas of afforestation transformation of river system along Daxi River were put forward.(2)The Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)model of the Daxi River waterfront plant community was constructed,and 287 suitable native waterfront plants were listed.The scores of each level were obtained based on the model calculation,and the scores were classified by trees,small orchids and single shrubs,ground cover(covering vine)and climbing plants(including epiphytes).The target layer(A)was to screen out the plant species conforming to the rural type of Daxi river in Liuyang City.Constraint layer(C)is ornamental characteristics(C1),ecological adaptability(C2),ecological security(C3)and application potential(C4).There are 14 indicator layers.According to plant community functions,it can be divided into ornamental function oriented,ecological function oriented and production-combined ornamental function oriented.The plant species suitable for Daxi River waterfront plant community were obtained.(3)Twelve plant communities in riverbank buffer zone,three in river channel greening control zone and other plant communities were established as model communities.The principles and steps of constructing the rural type Bitao plant community were put forward.The plant communities of different structural levels were constructed and recommended by reference to similar communities.The construction scheme and process of rural waterfront plant community were proposed and refined;(4)Based on the analysis results and the characteristics of rural waterfront landscape,and according to the current situation of landscape resources,traffic,and the advantages and disadvantages of plant community in Shuxiang village,this paper proposes the reconstruction methods of Ecological Belt plant community in Shuxiang Village.Referring to the model community constructed above,the typical plant community of Ecological Belt in Shuxiang Village was transformed,which enriched the waterfront landscape types of Shuxiang Village.
