With the background of large bridge project,risk identification,risk estimation,risk assessment and risk control during construction are systematically studied based on the domestic and foreign research on bridge engineering risk,the following research results are achieved:(1)According to the construction characteristics of large bridge,the definition of bridge construction risk is given;based on the Comprehensive Accident-causing Theory,the accident causation model of bridge construction safety risk was established and the flow chart of risk managementof large bridge construction was built,which provided basis for the risk management of large bridge construction.(2)As the large error of commonexpert investigation method caused by subjective factors,the expert investigation method based on accident statistics was given according to the construction characteristics of bridge.At the same time,statistical risk accident was helpful to build the risk database of bridge construction safety,provide abundant basic data for enterprise risk management and promote application of quantitative method in risk management in China.(3)Aiming at theexisting shortcomings of traditional LEC method,a better risk assessment method applied in the bridge construction——Improved LEC Method was given according to construction standards,regulations and related research of safety risk.First management factors were introduced into the risk management as a reduction factor in this new method,which can reflect the importance of safety management in engineering;Secondly,direct economic loss,environmental damage and construction delay were taken into account besides casualties when assessing the severity of risk accident consequences to ensure a more scientific and accurate estimation result.(4)For the Improved LEC Method,the distribution of estimation result—D value was counted by MARLAB,the criteria of estimation result by the Improved LEC Method was built according to the relevant literature and <the Guidence> to determine the general risk source and major risk sources.(5)As complexity and uncertainty of risk problems of bridge construction safety,a quantitative risk assessment method,that is Uncertain Network Analysis Method,was proposed after analyzing the deficiency of the existing evaluation methods.This method was applied to conduct further risk assessment on the major risk sources to confirm the weight of risk factors for the establishment of risk control measures.(6)Based on the characteristics of bridge construction and management in China,several control measures of major risk sources were given.
