The Collision Simulation And Research On Rear Under-run Protector Of Truck

The rear under-run protector is a special protective equipment for special vehicles in road support department.But there is no design or manufacturing standards in China.It is very necessary to install the protectors for the safety of construction staff,drivers and the road maintenance equipments.In Europe and America,the requirements for the road construction safety warning devices are matured.The standards ask to set collision buffer in operation area in order to protect the staff and drivers.This thesis included the modeling and simulation of protector,and the research contents and results are as follows:The development of vehicle rear under-run protector at home and abroad was expounded.The related product characteristics and research status were introducted,and the collision safety regulations in the world was described.After that,the theoretical basis of physics was generalized in detail.Secondly,the rear under-run protector was modelled,and the rationality of its structure designing and bump-proof effect were studied by FEA.Finally,the physical datum such as deformation,energy absorption,velocity and acceleration were analyzed in detail;Besides,the rear under-run protector of trunk was studied.After that,the response of rear under-run protector to its protective effect at different initial speeds was analyzed.The actual effect of energy absorbing was verified by collision study.
