Study On The Living Problem Of Youth Population In Beijing And The Architectural Design Solution

In recent years,the urbanization of our country has been advancing,and the cities are undergoing large-scale construction.Under such a background of development,the capital Beijing carries more and more urban functions.As the political,economic and cultural center of China,Beijing itself exudes great attraction,and appeals to people domestically and abroad to come here to seek better opportunities.Many young people regard Beijing as their ideal place to settle down.However,population’s gathering towards cities brings serious housing problems.Especially for the youth,the pressure of housing has become unbearable.The youth is the key force for advancing the social and economic development of our country.The study and resolving of the housing problems faced up with by the young can promote the social and economic development of Beijing.The current research,starting from the housing needs of the Beijing youth,can further enrich the relevant theories concerning the young people’s housing plan and design in our country,and provide them with a new theoretical perspective.With the study of the urban population curves of the more developed and fast growing cities in China,the research comes to the conclusion that the faster the development of one area,the larger the proportion of the young people,and this fact reflects that the youth’s gathering towards cities can give a major push to the social and economic development.However,the housing problem of the young has always been an urgent problem to be solved.In recent years,what behind the dwelling narrowness and ants-house like habitat is the severe housing problems faced up with by the young in big cities.The current author mainly analyzes and studies the housing behavior model and the housing problems of the young in Beijing in detail,and proposes the new housing model suitable for the modern youth from the perspectives of thinking modes,life styles and so on.Through the research on young people’s housing needs,young people’s difficulties in housing are supposed to be solved.Based on the analysis of young people’s housing needs,the suitable housing strategies are proposed,namely embedded space housing strategy,interlaced space housing strategy and shared space housing strategy.Different from the usual small-sized apartments which save costs merely by reducing the living space,the concept of enhancing added value of the housing is proposed so that young people’s increasing material and spiritual needs could be met.Combining with the author’s personal research experience of China House Vision program,the paper introduces the program’s ideas in solving the young’s housing problems,and further analyzes the practical application of embedded space housing strategy,interlaced space housing strategy and shared space housing strategy in the real case.Finally,suggestions towards the young’s housing space design are summarized based on the research of the young’s housing space strategy study.
