Research On Small Residential Spatial Mode Of Single Youth

With accelerating urbanization process and increasing scale of urban construction in China, housing prices is keep rising in major cities. At the meantime, the living condition of youth group who is the main force of the urban construction is worrying. Although the country’s regulatory policies have promote the construction of small family homes and realty companies have also adjusted the mode of housing products to adapt to the housing needs of smaller groups of young people, it does not mean that small apartment house is equivalent to residential youth because youth groups who need special living demand also has new habitation requirements. Therefore, the design must be tailored to adapt to contemporary youth to explore modern patterns of residential space. From this point of view, the study on single youth residence is not only to fill the gaps in policies and markets, but also to solve a universal urgent issue.Firstly, supported with the theory of architecture and related disciplines, based on the domestic and foreign existing research results and survey analysis, the papaer put forward our focus on the existing problems of single youth residence and the living demand of contemporary youth, then sums up the current single person living residential space design inspiration in China.Secondly, on the basis of basic research on theory and investigation of existing situation about inner space of single youth residence, the paper mainly analysis the influence factors of single residence space characteristics and basic constitutive element.Finally, based on the analysis, drawing and design, the spatial patterns of single youth residence is classificated and designed, then put forward relevant proposals.Conclusion with the above research, this paper is attempts to get following conclusions, the spatial pattern design of single youth residence could be achieved form three aspects-demand of youth groups, design of each unit space and combinations of spatial organization. In addition, as the different ways of design, the ways that it fed back to the behavior of the possibility dwellers are not the same. So the meaning of study on residential spatial pattern design is to find out the possibilities and provide it to the occupants in a variety patterns.
