Research On Architectural Decoration And Environmental Art In Modern Tianjin Concession

The development of modern Tianjin acts as an important role in the development of modern China.Since opened to outside word as a treaty port,Tianjin became the base of nine countries’ concessions.In this context,Tianjin is currently equipped with both native and foreign cultures due to its various concession buildings.As micro level of architectural expression,architectural decoration carries numerous historical and cultural information,which is an essential part of the expression of the environmental character of the concession.Therefore,these precious architectural heritages could become the base of building unique urban feature and expressing various urban cultures in this modern society.The research would explore the formation and development of Tianjin concession architecture in the context of Chinese and Western culture integration.From the micro level,the research would take three architecture environment heritages as examples to discuss the relationship between architectural decoration and block,courtyard,and indoor space separately.To better achieve conclusion,block environment and decoration feature would be focused in this research,which are integrated as a whole and are quite important in analyzing the feature of architectural decoration and environmental art.The research content would explore how architectural decoration and environment art develop on the basis of relationship between these two points.The author would discuss the architectural decoration features,architectural and environmental art,and environmental art features from micro level to macro level.Next,the method in terms of inheritance and development of concession feature would be discussed in renovation,base construction,and regeneration,on the basis of previous conclusion.Consequently,the research indicates that the feature would be directly showed in visual communication or indirectly showed through concept,which would endow the urban space environment with a sense of belonging and identity,linking with modern Tianjin image.
