Analysis Of Architectural Decoration And Environmental Art Of Jinchuan County Temple

The evaluation and preservation of national culture requires us to study its real foundation.The wisdom and spirit of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,known as the "roof of the World",are developed on the basis of the GuXiangXiong Kingdom and Bon religion.On the basis of the special political system of the Tibetan long-term Theocracy,there is no doubt that the religious architecture is the most perfect,complex decoration and the highest specification in the whole Tibetan area.In the course of the long historical evolution,the decorative art of Bon architecture and the foreign Buddhist culture collide,and then constantly absorb and improve the local architectural culture.At lase,it use the rich decorative elements to express the abstract complete religious connotation.This thesis chooses the end of the Bon migration to the east,two most famous monasteries in the area,the Rolb Temple of Qamdo and Yong Zhong Ding Guang fa si as the focus of the study of Bon architectural decoration art.It takes the architectural decoration and the environmental art as the starting point,through the field investigation to grasp the main content and the characteristic of the Bon art,and then induces and analyzes the cultural origin behind each decoration element.Finally,we collates the general decoration and the color application law of the Bon-teaching building.The first part of the paper outlines the geographical environment,religious status and the origins of Jinchuan County and Yong-Zhong Bon.Meanwhile it introduces the architectural status and historical changes of the two ancient Bon temples.In the second part,the architectural decoration is divided into decorative materials,decorative technology and various decorative components.In the process of elaboration,we analyze the influence of Bon culture on the final shape of eachdecorative component.In the third part,we sums up the elements of architectural decoration and the religious meanings behind them.And in the Forth part,our researchers divides the environment art into indoor environment art and outdoor environment art,and introduce the special offerings and religious instruments of bon.In this article,we discusse the influence of Bon philosophy on architectural decoration,find the root of decorative art in religious understanding and contrasts with the decoration of Tibetan Buddhist temples.The aim of which is to find out how bon culture is logically expressed through engineering means,sum up the achievements of decorative arts in monasteries,provide technical guidance for the protection and restoration of the Temple of Bon,and to provide theoretical basis for the protection and development of Bon culture.
