Research On Small Tourism Town Planning Under Background Of New Urbanization

Nowadays,the development of urbanization in China has stepped i nto the indepth period.New urbanization is becoming the national strategy which refers to that to advance urbanization to transform from focusing on increasing in numbers to pay more attention to upgrade of quality connotations.Small tourism town is one kind of small towns with Chinese characteristics,which has shown enormous development potentiality,because of its good adjustment to the changing of the development of urbanization and tourism industry in China.Therefore,how to promote small tourism towns' sustainable development and adaptation to new urbanization through effective planning measures has become an important task faced by Chinese planners nowadays.Under this background,this paper inquiries into the appropriate planning strategies of small tourism town under the background of new urbanization,hoping to provide enlightenments to it.Firstly,some basic concepts such as small town and small tourism town were defined,the tourism resources,tourism developing modes and tourism impacts of small town were studied;secondly,the value orientation of small tourism tow n planning under the background of new urbanization were discussed,the existing problems of small tourism town planning under the background of new urbanization were analysed,the successful experience of some of the domestic plans of small tourism towns were summarized;thirdly,the main ideas and strategies of small tourism town planning were proposed;finally,a selected case was analysed to verify and perfect the previous research results.
