The history of Landscape Architecture in France has experienced a wide range of reference and the process of learning,firstly influenced by the art of Italian culture,then learned and developed a regular Italian style terraced garden,absorbed its rich gardening techniques and features.During seventeenth century,Louis XIV established the absolute monarchy and has strengthened his autocratic rules,the attendant is regarded as the supreme representative of the royal gardens of Le Notre then flourished,which laid the status of French classical gardens.The rise of a large number of classical gardens,work endless stream nobility Colony to the ground gradually lost interest,along with the rise of Rococo art,an exotic pursuit of trends popped up.In this ancient trend is particularly noticeable among 17 th and 18 th centuries,"China vogue" throughout almost the whole of Europe.In France,along with the rise of the Enlightenment,its representatives-Voltaire,the French have taken up the banner of China's first master heat in just ten years,a large number of Chinese-style garden appeared,had been favored by people of all ages.It shares sought Chinese garden craze lasted for a hundred years in France,which became the history of landscape art in France and the world's indispensable garden scene.After reading a lot of basic research and related literature,this judgment should be affirmed,but the interaction of world civilization point of view is one-sided and inadequate in the European garden art development context.Through literature mining,historical comparison,case studies and other methods,this paper aimed at sorting out the development process of French gardens,then the French Jesuit missionaries and missionary activities resulting social repercussions are discussed and explained,"China vogue" generation and social impacts,analysis why Chinese gardens in Britain appeared earlier than France,and discuss Chinese garden features in France.
