The importance of intelligent transportation is also more obvious,with the continuous improvement of China's "safe city" project.Perfect fill light system for the application of intelligent traffic becomes more and more urgent.In this paper,we study the related problems of intelligent traffic fill light system and license plate easily overexposed glare and optimize it.(1)Firstly,it introduces the significance and development status and future trend of intelligent transportation system.Based on the construction of safe city,the role of intelligent transportation is increasingly highlighted the importance of its irreplaceable.We elaborate the function and classification of the fill light system and the advantages and disadvantages of the present fill light system in the intelligent transportation system at the same time.(2)Explain the basic concepts involved in the topic of this thesis,including the relevant indicators,emitting part and receiving part of light source in light system.Focus on the pulse width modulation technology,characteristic parameter of the IRLED and the comparison of infrared and White Lamp-LED.(3)In this paper,by comparing the advantages and disadvantages of infrared and White Lamp –LED,we design an anti glare lighting system,it uses some array IRLED.This system uses 25 LED as the light source.Among them,12 IRLED are adopted to solve the glare problem.In order to prevent image offset of the IPC,13 white LED were used to adjust the color.In the fill light control system,this paper designs of SCM selection,peripheral circuit,thermal sensing module,input and output of signal module,RS485 communication and LED lamp module.In the actual test,the performance test of the light effect is good,even if the human eye the fill light,also without obvious glare.(4)To solve the problem of the license plate overexposed,using logarithmic response image sensor on the hardware,increase the light induced dynamic range.In this paper we implementations exposure adaptive algorithm baseding on field programmable gate array(FPGA)On the algorithm,so that bayonet and electric police in the capture of illegal vehicles according to real-time illumination aperture and exposure time adjustment.The test result shows that the license plate image binarization distribution is even,It is proved that the adaptive exposure algorithm can effectively solve the problem of license plate over-exposure.
