| The traffic surveillance imaging light supplement device is a lighting device installed above the motorway to illuminate the target captured by the surveillance camera.Since the installation height is low and the irradiation direction is toward the motor vehicle,the driver can directly see the luminous surface of the supplementary light device during the driving process of the vehicle,which is easy to produce severe glare and has a great impact on traffic safety.In recent years,LED light source has been more and more widely used in the field of outdoor lighting,and most of the traffic monitoring supplementary light devices take LED as light source.However,the glare of the LED is not easy to control because of its small area and high brightness due to its proximity to point light source.If the distribution design is not controlled,the glare problem of the light supplement device with LED as the light source will be more serious than that of other kinds of light source.Based on the analysis of the principle of glare generation,increasing the luminous area and reducing the luminance of the luminous surface is a feasible method to reduce glare of the supplementary light device.The mathematical model of free-form surface is established by ray tracing based on refraction principle.The 3D model of the optical device was established through MATLAB programming calculation and 3D software modeling.Finally,the simulation calculation was carried out in Optisworks.Through the secondary light distribution design,the LED point light source is transformed into a surface light source formed by a diffuse transmission hood and a reflector.Under the premise of not reducing the luminous intensity,the measured glare value GR of the supplementary light device designed and manufactured decreases by more than 12.In addition,in order to consider to reduce the glare of the supplementary light device in practice as much as possible,this paper also studies the variation trend of glare under several conditions different from the current installation standard of the supplementary light device through the method of combining theoretical analysis and measurement.A more favorable installation position for glare control is proposed compared with the current installation standard.The paper also puts forward some suggestions for revising the current standard of the supplementary light device in optics. |
