Research On The Establishment Of "Heritage Trail" In Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Centre

In 2003, the Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Centre officially established to build on the Xiaoguwei Island, with a year, modern teaching building of 10 colleges have replaced the farmland. The original 13 natural villages were left behind only 4, a large number of traditional buildings were split, folk activities getting less and less with the villagers moved away. With the rapidly decrease of the field, the increase in the demand for life of teachers and students in the Guangzhou University Town?In order to maintain a basic livelihood, the villagers who used to take advantage of the plow as a source of income began to demolish their old house to build news for rent.Since then, the traditional style features and environmental quality of these preserved traditional villages become worse and worse, which due to the over exploitation and Lack of effective regulation. However, In the university town, the general understanding from teachers and students of these preserved traditional villages more exists in the use of their living resources level, but rarely in retaining the history of the village or protecting the village heritage.Heritage protection is the mission of the times, and also the rights and obligations of every citizen. However, the premise of protection should first establish the consensus that the heritage need to be protected, and to popularize the cultural heritage knowledge and heritage protection concept. These preserved traditional villages in Guangzhou University Town are different from other villages in the city, the island has 10 national key colleges and universities, this educational atmosphere is different from elsewhere. In this paper, we try to establish a plan of "Heritage Trail"in the university town by organizing the architectural heritage around the school among teachers and students and the common census of the villagers, and connecting the buildings in the walkway. And finally to popularize the knowledge and protection of cultural heritage, during the process of guide and view by organizing the teachers and students and publics.The second chapter of this article mainly introduc the real cases that the author has visited in the area of the construction of the walkway and the promotion of the inheritance education, with a view to summarizing the reasons for the success of the predecessors. In addition, we introduce the concept of "Heritage Trail'" to the whole university town by introducing the influence of "Beiting Heritage Trail" and "Proposed to build "The Heritage Trail of the Guangzhou University Town."From the third to the fifth chapters of this article, mainly discuss how to construct the " The Heritage Trail of the Guangzhou University Town" through "point,line and face" respectively. In the third chapter, the paper focus on the form of"point", through the research on the architectural heritage of the scatter distribution in the university city, make the evaluation of the existing architectural heritage and the assessment of the status quo, and combined with the upper level protection requirements of the architectural heritage, as the basis for determining the resource points on the walkway of the walking system. The fourth chapter, emphasizing the form of "line", is a series of architectural heritage of the island's scattered distribution in a winding walkway. Through the improvement of the infrastructure construction along the walkway (including pavement materials, municipal facilities and transportation facilities on the hardware facilities, and software Facilities on the interpretation system and identification system) to put forward the reform ideas for improving village's environment, also provide protection and reuse methods of architectural heritage along the Line.
