Analysis Of Village-amid-City’s Architectural Morphology Based On Complex Adaptive Systems

Two phenomena often coexist in many modern cities in our country.On one hand,the chaotic Village-amid-City reveals interesting architectural morphology and strong flavoured life,and on the other hand strict planning of urban space shows the lack of the milk of human kindness.This paper explores the formation mechanism of the Village-amid-City’s system of "Chenlaogang" in HeFei and tries to reveal the causes and spatial evolution mechanism of the Village-amid-City.It is hope that through this research to rethink the solution of the existing problems in the Village-amid-City and find out the strategies and ways to create place and other aspects of urban space in modern city.First,through the analysis of the distribution of five different building information of the building blocks in "Chenlaogang" village base on the construction base area,the road network relationship,the height of the buildings,the degree of the order in construction and the distribution of the buildings,This paper analyzes the status quo of the architectural morphology of the house and the morphological evolution of eight architectural examples in "Chenlaogang" village and summarizes four trends of continuous change of architectural morphology: the expansion trend,the competitive trends,the improve trend and the less competitive trend.Secondly,based on the theory of complex adaptability,the research method of complex system is used to combine the owner and the architectural morphology in "Chenlaogang" village as the research object of the chaotic image.Based on the statistical results of the present situation of the architectural morphology "Chenlaogang" village,the interactive model of "owner-building morphology" interacting with other subjects in the village system is constructed to analyze the reform rules and architectural morphology and the inherent logic of the change of the architectural morphology is deduced: with the change of the transformation rules,the adaptability changes occur in the morphology of the building.Thirdly,based on the theory of echo model,an understanding model of “Chenlaogang”village is analyzed.Through the comparison of the five basic operating mechanism of the model and the architectural phenomenon in the village of “Chenlaogang” village,the key link in the process of the emergence of the village in the city is summarized.It is revealed that the appearance of the emergence in “Chenlaogang” village is not abuilding from small to large scale changes itself,but many buildings gathered after the morphology of changes in the form of integration.Finally,the paper summarizes three determinative factors of the causes of in architectural morphology,such as functional advantages,environmental screening and homeowner autonomy,and put forward three transformation strategies,such as guiding core competitive resource transformation by policy,establishing and developing of new rules based on the operation mechanism of Village-amid-City’s system and improving the corresponding land use standards,to solve present situation of Village-amid-City.
