Study On Architectural Form Of Traditional Settlement In Tangxi Village

As the important carrier of Chinese traditional culture,the traditional settlement,which are carrying thousands of one hundred years of historical culture and the native complex.Its settlement shape interpret the provincialism,and the clan of national emotions.With the rapid development of social economy,changes in life style,it brings the great changes in town and country,at the same time,traditional village and its cultural form are under an unprecedented impact.Study on the traditional settlement and architectural form,is not only the continuity of regional context,but also the fundamental guide to contemporary transmission which contains traditional architectural culture characteristics.The traditional settlement of Tangxi village is located to the south of Yongchun country,in Hushan town.There are plenty of traditional settlements,these traditional settlements contain a lot of authentic historical information.In 2013,Tangxi village was in the list of "The Chinese traditional village" by the national housing construction department.The deep and systematic analysis of the traditional settlement of Tangxi village and its architectural form is the main purpose of this paper and the content.What is more,it is also a supplement to the study of traditional settlements in southern Fujian,which provides reference experience for the similar protection in the future.In this paper,the natural and historical material heritage of Tangxi village as the carrier,the essay analyzes the morphological characteristics of Tangxi village in time and space dimensions,analyzes the characteristics of the settlement of the important elements from the regional perspective.Large number of field research,photographing,mapping,interviews,data collection and other basic work were implemented.The historical culture and characteristics of the traditional settlements in Tangxi village are systematically analyzed,at the same time,the traditional architectural form are studied.This paper combined by three parts and includes six chapters.The first chapter is introduction,there is the explanation of the background,purpose and meanings of the topic,to summary of the research object,and to define the research level,and the related concepts.Secondly,it combs the related research at home and abroad,and Minnan area.Finally,the essay put forward the research method and technical route.The part two includes chapter two,three,four and five,is discussed the topic comprehensively.The second chapter expounds the physical geography and humanity history background of Tangxi village,including natural environment,local resources,history,religion and folk culture,etc.The third,fourth chapter and fifth chapter are core chapters of this thesis.In the third chapter,the main factors of the settlement location and the layout of the settlement are analyzed from the macro perspective.The essay take commercial streets,residential group,water,tree and other spatial elements as the breakthrough point,to summary the characteristics of the traditional settlement of Tangxi village.In the fourth chapter,it specifically analyses the public building form of Tangxi village and its surrounding settlements in the microcosmic,including the ancestral temple,temple and civilian fortress.Besides,it compares the ancestral temple architecture form.The fifth chapter selects traditional residence in Tangxi village as analysis object,it analyzed a common feature of the traditional residences,involving aspects of architectural space,layout,structure,architectural image and detailed decoration.Part three is the conclusion.In the sixth chapter,on the basis of the summary of the traditional settlement form of Tangxi village,the protection and planning of the traditional settlements of Tangxi village is put forward,and the future prospects are also presented.
