Research On The Characteristics Of Traditional Settlement And Architectural Space Form Of Houlinhe Village In Wu’an

Traditional settlements and traditional buildings contain rich authentic historical information,bearing the heavy historical development track under the complex background.Houlinhe village in Wuan city,Hebei Province,as the fourth group of traditional villages,has a long history and cultural precipitation.In recent years,the phenomenon of hollowing out settlement is becoming more and more serious,the vitality of settlement is disappearing day by day,and many problems such as how to continue and develop historical culture and regional characteristics are becoming increasingly prominent.This paper ues Houlinhe settlement as the study object,starting from the settlement and building space form.The research combines the knowledge of sociology,geography,geometry,typology and other related disciplines,carries out a lot of literature verification,survey and mapping,and summarizes,compares and analyzes the data and results.On the basis of the above,this paper deeply analyzes the inherent laws and morphological characteristics in the construction and evolution of settlements and buildings.The ultimate goal is to excavate the construction wisdom and protection value,and provide reference for the protection and renewal of traditional settlements.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the basic research content,which is the first chapter of the text.This part starts from the research background,research purpose,research meaning and relevant notion.Then through the analysis of domestic and foreign research trends,the research object,research content and theoretical methods are established.Finally,the research ideas and research framework are presented.The second part is the background research,which is the second chapter of the text.It discusses the background of traditional settlements and traditional buildings in Houlinhe village from three aspects of geographical location,natural environment and cultural environment.The third part is the analysis and research,which is the core content of the paper and the content of the third and fourth chapters.This part analyzes and studies Houlinhe village from two levels of village space form and building space forms.In the third chapter,the research on the village spatial form is carried out from five aspects: site selection,spatial pattern,boundary form,node form,street form and water system form,and the morphological characteristics of each level are analyzed and summarized.With the help of fractal theory,this paper calculates the fractal dimension of settlement form,analyzes the evolution law of settlement form,summarizes the morphological characteristics,and scientifically verifies and supplements the relevant qualitative analysis.In the fourth chapter,the research of architectural space form is based on two types of buildings: residential buildings and public buildings.This chapter summarizes and studies the composition and arrangement,organization evolution,fabric type of residential courtyard,and summarizes the characteristics of single building and details.It also makes a detailed analysis of typical residential cases and key public buildings.The fourth part is the strategy and method research,which is the fifth chapter of the text.This part propose strategies and methods for the future development of Houlinhe traditional settlements on the basis of the protection and renewal value and development status of Houlinhe village,combined with the morphological characteristics obtained from the previous analysis.Through systematic research and in-depth analysis,it is found that the spatial form of Houlinhe traditional settlement presents the morphological characteristics of central radiation,fuzzy boundary,cluster cohesion,and coordinated development of multi-level spatial structure.Traditional architecture presents the morphological characteristics of changeable and flexible forms,diverse fabric types,rich levels and clear regional signs.Thus,the information database is established to supplement the research system of traditional villages in Western Handan.In a word,this research has devoted a lot of effort,but due to the limitations of objective conditions,the research content is still insufficient.Hope to be improved in the later period,in order to provide effective reference and help for the protection and renewal of Houlinhe village,and provide some reference and inspiration for the protection and development of other traditional villages.
