Research On The Slow-Moving Space Of Suzhou Moat Area

In the face of problems in the urban development such as:increasingly traffic congestion use weak, lack of public space, historical and cultural resources is weak, people lack of walking space, etc., this paper proposes the idea of combining slow-moving space with city elements in the urban moat region, aimed at slowing research space as an entry point,on the basis of advocating low-carbon travel, expanding urban exchange places in urban riverfront area, the construction of the slow system promotes the comprehensive utilization of city resources within the moat region, and makes the urban slow-moving system, the historical and cultural resources, the open spaces around the moat closely integrated, in order to effectively promote the moat of elements within the city association,systematic, and to build systematic and characteristic, high quality of urban riverside public space by doing slow space research and to ascend area attractions, to improve the quality of urban life in the same time.In recent years, Suzhou in the construction of the slow city under the craze,the government carried out a large-scale construction activities, to develop the special planning of the central city of Suzhou slow traffic, also within the scope of river water system in the urban area to build a number of slow trail, aimed at building the waterfront of Suzhou slow-moving system.However the basic theory and practice of strategy research is not enough, especially for the moat slow space research area.For this reason, this paper takes Suzhou moat regional slow-moving space as the research object, in order to explore a kind of innovative and adaptability the construction of the slow riverfront space.The paper first summarizes the status of urban slow-space research at home and abroad, analysis the relevant theories on the study of urban riverside slow-moving space, and sums up the experience of relevant practical cases from the urban level, laying a theoretical foundation for the study of slow space of Suzhou moat.Then, the spatial attributes of the slow-moving space in the moat area of Suzhou are analyzed from the aspects of space evolution, constituent elements, spatial types and characteristics. On this basis, the paper focuses on the development of slow space in the moat area in the future, and puts forward urban functional location and the factors of spatial design of the riverfront slow-moving space, it also emphatically analyzes the relationship between the ring moat trail and the surrounding urban open space,the historical environment, public transport And so on, so as to expand the research perspective from slow-moving space itself to the integration with the urban environmental resources.Under the precondition of the study, by analyzing on the ring of Suzhou moat slow-moving space existing problems, combined with slow space optimization design goal, this paper explores the design principles and tactics of the slow-motion space which suitable for the Suzhou moat area, from the construction of the slow-moving network, the historical and cultural display, space environment quality improvement and mechanism guarantee four aspects as the slow-moving space design in the ring of Suzhou moat area to provide the reference and guidance.
