For nearly decades, economic has a rapidly development of China rural areas, because of a fast growth of China’s rural highway mileage, while brought great convenience that local people’s travel. But the increase in road traffic mileage is also a double-edged sword because the road grade and maintenance of rural roads are not very well. More over, the speed of vehicles and continues to improve. So, road traffic accidents on rural roads very frequently. Especially passenger vehicles as most farmers travel transport. Thus the paper studied driving stability of curve sections and climbing performance of ramp sections of rural bus based TruckSIM. Therefore, this specific work is as follows:(1)On the basis of literature review, the paper describes the criteria of design for different highway alignment on different road grades, the characteristics and function of different linear. Introduce the China highway road classification and characteristics of rural roads. Determine the main characteristics of the road carrier.(2)Analysis of the dynamic characteristics of the vehicle, including tires and steering system characteristics model. These are the factors that are closely related to the stability and dynamics of the vehicle, to determine the dynamics theory System of the vehicle.(3)Established roads and vehicle model simulation required based TruckSIM. Conclude the corners front and rear axle lateral load transfer to the limit of the order by TruckSIM simulation. Determine the evaluation methods that evaluation instability of vehicle in the corners. Paper analyzed vehicle with three or more roads in the corners the instability of the speed limit according to the simulation results by TruckSIM. And analyzed the vehicle with three or more roads in the corners the safety speed. At the same time, paper study the influence that easement curve for vehicle driving stability in the corners.(4)Analysis of road adhesion coefficient, vehicle load, and the speed of the slope the affect for vehicle climbing performance on ramp road. Reduce road adhesion coefficient or vehicle load increases too much will result in decreased climbing distance and climbing performance of the vehicle. Road adhesion coefficient and vehicle load are the main factors affecting the performance of vehicle climbing.
