| Building Information Modeling(BIM)brings the new technical atmospheres for Chinese building construction area,and a revolution for the building construction management.BIM,originated and developed in USA,has already made some contribution to American building construction area.The Chinese government has highly commenced and generalized BIM,and hopes BIM can be generalized and utilized in China.All parties of building construction area like LDI 、 engineering consultant company、general contractor and other contractors start BIM training、practice and start BIM works.BIM also brings a new management method which is different from the traditional one.For engineering consultant companies which provide professional consultant service for Clients,BIM can be involved in project life-cycle.With BIM service,they can provide more value-added service for Client,for example,at the pre-construction design stage,engineering consultant company provide the design consultant service for the Client,and the design optimization from BIM will help the Client get the more better design;at the construction stage,BIM can foresee the construction situation,improve the quality,safety and budget management.BIM as core competence service business in the company provide added value service for Clients.This thesis introduces the international BIM condition,including foreign and domestic situation,the value of BIM in a project life-cycle,to design the BIM service operation system,study and research the BIM team organization structure,and the external and internal environment,resource and ability of company A;to analyze with SWOT、the Five-force and VRIO model;to study BIM business strategy,and the core competence of Company A relevant issues;this thesis also study the problem and obstacles of BIM in engineering consultant company,and provide the suggestion for the problems;and get conclusion of this thesis. |
